He authored the book on Online Promotions, and is a marketing columnist for INC. ==History== In 1994, after graduating from Salem State College with bachelor's degrees in marketing and advertising, Carmody started his career later that year as a producer at Modem Media. During his year there he was a pioneer in the early days of Internet marketing, launching some of the first commercial websites for companies including MasterCard, CBS, and JCPenney's, and managing the AT&T and Zima sites. Bill Carmody has made his share of leaps of faith. When his college friends wouldn't join him to go skydiving, he did it himself.
